Don't worry, it's coming! This is a shot from several years ago from the summit of Spruce Knob in the Monongahela National Forest of West Virginia. The day brought very cloudy weather in the morning, but by the time the late afternoon had rolled around the sky began to break up. I sat on the summit for several hours watching the play of clouds, light and shadow across the forest. This was my favorite shot from the afternoon, as the forest below became bathed in soft diffused light and the clouds above marched across the sky, I captured this image.

Must be incredible to have autumn colours like that, almost all our native trees in Australia keep their leaves throughout the year so our landscape is very different.
