Last summer I hiked to this summit on North Fork Mountain in the Monongahela National Forest of West Virgiia. The ridge line is dry with no reliable source of water for close to 50 mile in any direction. I only had enough water with me to stay for two nights but was treated with some great light on the second night. After that it was back down and a few nights camping up on Dolly Sods. This area of the East Coast is so exceptional for nature and landscape photography!
Lovely contrast and details to the rocks! very nice view
