Swirlies below Second Falls by joerossbach Swirlies below Second Falls by joerossbach
I am now back home from a whirlwind autumn tour that took me from the High peaks of the Adirondacks through Vermont and finally to the mountains of West Virgina. I spent 20 days on the road leading 2 week long photo workshops and shooting personal work. The color was so-so this year in New England coming on early and strong, but ending in muted colors after tropical storm Nicole blew up the coast and hammered new England. Over the next several weeks I will be sharing new work from my travels, so stay tuned!

Joe, I see you wanted to include the swirl at the bottom (HOT!) But the top of the falls appears cut off. If the original negative / file allows, higher crop is likely indicated.

Something about this wants more tension between the two elements. They feel a bit on top of each other compositionally speaking. Always love swirls and fall waterfalls. Bet it was a great trip :)
